A balance between work and personal life – this is our goal. We help our employees achieve their career goals while also having enough time for their families.
We offer our employees flexibility in terms of working hours and locations. In addition to flexi- and part-time working models, there are also opportunities for partial retirement and longer leaves of absence such as the sabbatical. In many areas of the company, working from home has already become the norm. In addition to our general policies, we also work to find solutions for individual cases. For example, we make it easier for women in the area of consulting who are returning from leave to balance their professional and family lives by temporarily reducing the amount of travel needed. A cooperative management style as well as a responsible use of the autonomy acquired are needed for these solutions to work well. Our commitment to childcare is another important way in which we contribute to compatibility between work and family. We operate a daycare center with full-time staff in cooperation with partner companies. In recognition of this commitment, we received a special award from the jury of the "Family-Friendly Company" competition.
The steps we take to help our employees feel well during their free time as well include a subsidized gym membership. We also facilitate participation in a wide range of sporting activities and competitions such as soccer, badminton, cycling races, fun runs and volleyball. We provide jerseys and cover registration fees for these activities. But feeling at home at Sycor also starts with the little everyday things: Tea, water and a variety of coffee drinks are provided to our employees free of charge. Employees also have the opportunity to receive a subsidized massage once a week during their break.
