The Göttingen-based service provider for digital transformation Sycor increased its number of employees by 100 thanks to organic growth in the past financial year. With over 750 employees, Sycor's annual sales grew by almost 20 percent to EUR 85.1 million. This positive result is due on the one hand to the overall favorable economic situation, and on the other hand to the successful integration of the new employees.
The medical technology company Ottobock in Lower Saxony had been using the interface system SAP XI 7.0. But the days of that system were numbered: SAP discontinued maintenance for the solution effective at the end of 2017. A new interface landscape was therefore required.
Sycor continues to pursue its growth strategy. The IT service provider based in Göttingen was able to recruit more than 50 new employees within six months. Currently the Sycor Group has over 700 employees worldwide. At the beginning of August, 16 new trainees joined the company that earned the Great Place to Work® award.

SYCOR GmbH has been successfully administering the company's online shop for more than three years, and was chosen for the rollout thanks to the local expertise of its Singapore location.
Alpha Trains, Continental Europe's largest private rolling stock lessor, has decided to implement Sycor.Rental on the basis of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations. The company will adopt the new finance system solution for its entire business going forward.
In February Sycor already took first place in the Great Place to Work® competition "Best Employers in Lower Saxony-Bremen 2017" in the size class of companies with more than 250 employees. Since last week is has also been established that Sycor is one of the best employers in Germany. What's more, Sycor went on to take third place in the Great Place to Work® awards "Best ITC Employers" in the category of companies with 501 to 1,000 employees on Monday.
Protecting information is a key business objective of the Göttingen-based ITC service provider Sycor. Now this is backed up by the internationally established ISO 27001 certification. The Sycor Group's Technology Services division convinced the auditors with the stable structure of its information security management system in a multi-level certification process. Thus the full-range IT service provider has taken another important step in the direction of effective quality assurance.
