Sycor is a "Great Place to Work" – the Göttingen-based IT service provider takes 1st place in the "Best Employers in Lower Saxony-Bremen 2017" contest
Sycor took part in this year's "Great Place to Work®" contest "Best Employers in Lower Saxony-Bremen". The IT service provider took first place in the size class of companies with more than 250 employees.
(Göttingen) The internationally recognized award confirms that the Göttingen-based company offers attractive working conditions as well as a company culture based on trust for its employees.
Martin Renker, Vice President HR Management for the Sycor Group, accepted the award in Hanover on Wednesday evening. "We are very pleased about this award, since the result confirms that our HR efforts are clearly paying off. The insight that our employees have internalized the people-oriented Sycor culture and are living it is even more important to us. Feedback from the survey is a great incentive for us to continue on this path," Renker says.
The assessment was based on an anonymous survey of the Sycor employees about key workplace topics such as trust in managers, identification with the company, professional development opportunities, compensation, health promotion, and work-life balance. The quality of HR measures and leadership in the company was evaluated as well.
"The award represents credible management that works with the employees fairly and respectfully, a high level of employee identification, and a strong team spirit," says Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® Germany, on the occasion of the awards ceremony.
The high level of employee satisfaction is also reflected by the survey results: 93 percent of the staff would recommend Sycor as an employer. Currently the IT service provider has more than 650 employees at 19 locations around the world, 13 of which are in Germany.
