Simplified replacement parts business thanks to visual navigation in SAP Hybris Commerce

Sycor.CC-Connector for SAP Customer Engagement and Commerce enables the seamless integration of CATALOGcreator® into the existing SAP Hybris online shop solution. This makes replacement parts procurement faster, more efficient and especially less error-prone for online shop users. With CATALOGcreator®, replacement parts are not merely listed by product numbers but – the major additional benefit of this solution – shown graphically. A customer searching for replacement parts can simply call up the product in question and identify the correct replacement part using graphical navigation. Neither product numbers nor other information that is often not available or time-consuming to obtain is needed.

Example: A customer wants to buy a replacement or service part for an excavator in order to make repairs. The customer uses a tablet or computer to access the manufacturer's customer portal. Following authentication, the customer can select the excavator in question and launch replacement parts navigation. The customer navigates to the required replacement part with graphical support by drilling down into the CAD drawing or blueprint of the excavator until the part in question is found. Then the part is placed in the temporary shopping cart. After selecting all replacement and service parts, they can be transferred to the SAP Hybris Commerce shopping cart where both carts are combined. Now the customer sees individual prices.  After placing the order in SAP Hybris Commerce, it is created directly in the SAP back end where it can be processed further.
