Sycor will once again present its SAP Hybris portfolio at the cDAY organized by TID-Informatik this year. The event is being held on May 16-17 in Herrsching am Ammersee under the motto "sell more parts.wordwide". Sycor as a long-standing TID partner is contributing to the cDAY with a presentation on the topic of sales and service digitalization and an exhibition stand in the foyer.
From April 23 to 27, 2018, visitors will have the opportunity to control an excavator equipped with sensors at the Sycor exhibition stand in hall 7 – thereby influencing the excavator's digital twin. But this model is far more than a digitally assisted gimmick: With the seamless integration of sensors, the SAP Cloud Platform, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud for Customer, and SAP Hybris Commerce, Sycor's experts are illustrating the implementation of new business models.
Last week, Microsoft and SAP announced they are expanding their partnership. Following the in-memory database SAP HANA, the ERP suite S/4HANA is now also being offered on Azure, the Microsoft cloud platform. This development can be seen as a strategic move against the cloud market leader Amazon on the one hand, but on the other hand end customers in particular benefit from this cooperation between the two IT firms. The SAP Community awards the Developer Hero status once a year to just 20 people who have made special contributions to improving and enhancing the understanding of SAP solutions and technologies. The medical technology company Ottobock in Lower Saxony had been using the interface system SAP XI 7.0. But the days of that system were numbered: SAP discontinued maintenance for the solution effective at the end of 2017. A new interface landscape was therefore required.

In the course of opening the subsidiary Pilz South East Asia in April of 2016, the automation company Pilz from Baden-Württemberg was seeking a flexible SAP implementation partner for the rollout to Singapore. SYCOR GmbH has been successfully administering the company's online shop for more than three years, and was chosen for the rollout thanks to the local expertise of its Singapore location.
