Sycor strikes gold - New Microsoft competency confirms established cloud know-how
The digitalization service provider Sycor has a new Microsoft competency: Sycor now holds the "Gold Cloud Productivity" partner status. This represents established cloud know-how and corresponding experience from successful customer projects.
The digitalization of business processes is a major challenge and also a tremendous opportunity for companies. "We help our customers master their digital transformation with integrated consulting services," says Sycor Vice President Dr. Frank Wilkes. "Together, we find the cloud solution that best fits the customer's requirements. When needed, we integrate it with the existing on-premise systems to create a harmonious and stable functional whole," Wilkes continues.
Sycor has been supporting customers with custom IT services and solutions in the Microsoft environment for years. In addition to consulting, Sycor implements, integrates, and operates cloud, hybrid, and on-premise scenarios – including servers, storage, security, and applications.
Customer consulting for audit-compliant license management is an important focal point of Sycor's services related to cloudification. The Sycor Group's Software Asset Management (SAM) Team focuses on Microsoft offerings and helps companies with the acquisition, deployment, administration, and monitoring of software licenses. "We protect our customers against under-licensing and simultaneously avoid over-licensing. This minimizes costs and ensures that compliance requirements are always controlled and met," explains Erol Anil, President & Chief Executive Officer of SYCOR IQ Solutions. The SAM specialist adds: "Numerous details have to be considered for a migration to the cloud. We work with our customers to find suitable, flexible license combinations for the transfer to the cloud and optimize costs and demand."
Sycor currently has more than 750 employees at 20 locations around the world. The Sycor Group has both SAP and Microsoft know-how. Nine gold and three silver competencies back the broad-based Microsoft portfolio.
